Martinsville residents and visitors alike enjoy this 113 acre park, providing year-round recreation activities, including hiking trails and swimming (in season). The park features a 2.5 acre pond for fishing, eight rentable shelter houses, more than two miles of hiking trails, a quarter-mile paved trail, basketball, tennis and playground areas. The City Park Pool has two large twisty slides, a diving board, zero depth entry, a children’s play area with tippy bucket, zero depth entry baby pool and a splash pad. The Family Pavilion is available for rental for your special events and also hosts many community events. Located adjacent to the spaceship themed playground and the pool.
